2008 Fall Baseball & Fall Softball

The Extra Innings Fall Baseball League will begin its 12th season this September. Over 1000 players participated in the league last year which continues to expand and provide a quality, structured environment for baseball and softball throughout the fall months.

This is an instructional league and no standings are kept. The goal is to improve each player’s skills for the following season and to have fun doing it. Certified umpires from the North Shore Umpires Association will work each game.

18U Division - Players must be enrolled in grades 10-12. All doubleheaders are played on Sundays, September 7 through October 12. This league is a great way for players to continue training for their upcoming Spring baseball season, or to try a new position. Players in this division are eligible for selection to play in the Extra Innings Charity Foundation All-Star Game. This showcase is scheduled for late October and is attended by many area college coaches and pro scouts. A $500 scholarship is awarded to the game’s MVP.

15U Division - Players must be eligible to play Babe Ruth or Senior League ball for the 2009 season. Any 15U High School player should play in this division. All doubleheaders are played on Sundays, September 7 – October 12.

13U Division - Players in this division must be entering their first year of play on the big diamond. Players who have just finished Little League are required to play in this division. This league is a great opportunity for players to transition to and get comfortable with playing on the big diamond. All doubleheaders are played on Saturdays, September 6 – October 11.

12U Division Small Diamond Play - Players must be eligible to play Little League baseball for the 2009 season. Minimum age for this division is 10 years old. This division is for the more advanced small diamond players.

Saturday League – Doubleheaders on Saturdays, September 6 – October 11
Sunday League – Doubleheaders on Sundays, September 7 – October 12

9U Division Small Diamond Play - Players must be eligible to play Little League baseball for the 2009 season. Minimum age for this division is 8 years old.

Sunday League – Doubleheaders on Sundays, September 7 – October 12

Fall Baseball Player Registration - $225

Includes: 12 games, uniform, practice time at Extra Innings, umpire fees and 10% Pro Shop discount during season.

Fall Baseball Team Registration - $450

Includes: 12 game schedule, umpire assignments, practice time and equipment discounts.

18U Division - Eligible players can not turn 19 before December 31, 2008 and must be enrolled in high school. All doubleheaders are played on Sundays, September 7 – October 12.

14U Division - All doubleheaders are played on Saturdays, September 6 – October 11.

10U Division - All doubleheaders are played on Saturdays, September 6 – October 11.
