Instructors at Extra Innings
Extra Innings offers individualized, year round professional baseball and softball instruction. Our staff uses a uniform step-by-step teaching system to encourage positive progress with all our students.
The Extra Innings staff features former and current professional players, college all-stars, and area college and high school coaches.

Vito Mastrangelo – Hitting & Pitching Instruction
Played high school baseball at Bishop Fenwick then moved on to North Adams State. Vito was an Assistant Coach at Bishop Fenwick from 2000-2004 capped by a State Championship in 2004.

Brian Marshall
– Hitting & Pitching Instruction
Captain at Danvers H.S. then moved on to the University of Southern Maine. Brian was the 3rd baseman for USM on their way to the Division III College World Series in 2001. He played in the All-New England Collegiate game at Fenway Park in 2004. Brian has been an Assistant Coach at Danvers High School. since 2005.

Scott Bevan Sr. – Hitting & Catching Instruction
Started coaching in 1976 with Danvers National Little League. Scott was an Assistant Coach at Danvers H.S. from 1996 until 2004, highlighted by a State Championship in 2001. Also coached Danvers Legion Post 180 for 10 years.

Scott Bevan Jr. – Hitting & Catching Instruction
Starting catcher for 3 years at Danvers H.S. and captained the Falcons to a State Championship in baseball and hockey his senior year of 2001. Scott also went on to catch at Salem State College.

Sarah Bennis – Softball Pitching Instruction
Sarah starred at the University of Maine from 2002-2006. She was First Team All-America East in her junior and senior years, holds the school record for most career strikeouts and tied for most wins in a season, with 19 in 2006. Sarah is now an assistant coach for the Merrimack College softball team.

Pete L’Italien – Hitting, Catching, Pitching Instruction
Teammate of Brian Marshall at the University of Southern Maine for 2 years. Played in two Division III College World Series’ as the starting catcher. Captained Salem (MA) High School in ’97 and Southern Maine in ’02. All-Conference twice and Rookie of the Year in ’99. Played 2 years of professional baseball in the Can-Am League for the New Jersey Jackals and Quebec Capitales.
